Shared Stories, Shared Voices

The Foundling Museum, September 2020 - April 2021

During Covid lockdown, Shared Stories aimed to maintain vital connections with the Museum’s key communities and to make collections available on the website for the first time. Former Foundling Hospital pupils, care-experienced trainees and volunteers took part in artist-led online workshops to develop their own responses to objects from the Foundling Museum’s collection. More than 20 individual short films, personal blogs, poems and other unique creative work were produced for audiences around the world to enjoy. The project was funded through the Esmée Fairbairn Collections Fund administered by Museums Association.
